You can make these super cute Positive Possums for FREE (aside from the cost of your yarn/materials)!

Both opossums shown here were made with free Instagram patterns!

The bigger opossum (the one on top of the crate) is the Pocket Opossum pattern by @jm_adorableplushies.

For the key chain, I used the possum pattern from @rumble_crochet. I did modify that pattern to be completely no-sew using the techniques described below:

Ears: After the head and front feet are complete, join black yarn where the white and grey meet. Make sure you are in line with the eyes. Work 3 double crochets around the next stitch and then slip stitch around the next stitch to secure.

Tail: On the last stitch of round 16, change to pink. Chain 7 (I chained 10 for the larger opossum) and work single crochets down the chain. Leave a long tail for closing. With a yarn needle, weave the pink yarn tail through the front loops of round 16 and pull tight to close the hole, secure with a knot, and hide the yarn tail.

This adorable keychain/backpack buddy was made with Premier Parfait Chunky yarn in the colors Cotton Candy, White, Fog, and Black. (Save 10% off your first order from Premier Yarns). I used a 4.5mm Clover Amour crochet hook.
