Mini Pickle Pattern

  • R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
  • R2: inc around (12)

Now you will start to add the bumps to your pickle with double crochets. Use your finger to pop them out. You can use triple/treble crochets instead of the double crochets if you want more prominent bumps.

  • R3: 6 sc, dc, 5 sc (12)
  • R4: 2 sc, dc, 9 sc (12)
  • R5: 9 sc, dc, 2 sc (12)
  • R6: dc, 11 sc (12)

Insert eyes between rows 4 and 5, with 2 stitches between. I position one eye so it sits diagonally down from the first dc you made in row 3. See photo below for reference.

Begin stuffing and continue to stuff as you go.

  • R7: 5 sc, dc, 6 sc (12)
  • R8: 8 sc, dc, 3 sc (12)
  • R9: 2 sc, dc, 9 sc (12)
  • R10: 11 sc, dc (12)
  • R11: 7 sc, dc, 4 sc (12)
  • R12: 4 sc, dc, 7 sc (12)
  • R13: 1 sc, dc, 10 sc (12)
  • R14: dec around (6)

FO and weave the top closed. Add a ball chain keyring, plastic clasp, and one of my free round pickle tags if you’d like!

That’s it! You did it! Enjoy your cutie little mini pickle!!
